Entries officially closed and have been processed for WKC 2021! According to Westminster officials, the entry limit of 2,500 was reached (although MB-F declined to confirm on give additional details).

Some entrants reported email confirmation of entry on this past Monday. However, many others did not receive anything via email or receivedonly partial entry confirmation and no word of additional entries were rejected. Several would-be exhibitors who had dogs qualified for invitation shared they had yet to receive official acceptance of their entries. For those who have not gotten any confirmation/ rejection via email, MB-F website has a statement that both emails and physical mail went out on Monday, “The Monday, April 19th mailings included all processed Conformation, Obedience and Junior entrants. Please carefully read the information contained within that Notice. This Notice is NOT an ID for the show.” Further information was unavailable as the link associated with the statement was inactive. Do not call MB-F to attempt to verify entry status.

As previously reported, WKC 2021 will not have spectators or vendors in attendance. Westminster officials provided information via email (April 13th) regarding Exhibitor tickets, “After working closely with New York State officials regarding COVID-19 attendance restrictions for the 2021 dog show, the club will provide two (2) exhibitor tickets per entered dog for daytime competition only, on the day the dog is exhibited. These passes will be part of each dog’s entry packet. Each Best of Breed winner will receive two (2) tickets for seating at its respective evening of Group competition.” Additional tickets will not be available for sale.
